Event Pack (Updated 21/7/24)

Two AOS Spearhead events on consecutive days

Army Selection: You will need an Warhammer - AOS Spearhead army. Select your forces from one of the Spearhead forces found in the Fire and Jade book.

If you have a dispute over a rule, you can agree it amicably between yourselves or call over Paul or Wayne. Our judgement is final regardless of whether it is correct or not. Be warned, we tend to err on the side of rules as intended.

Army Painting and modelling

There are no painting requirements for the event although we would prefer painted and based models.

Those should be left out for judging at lunchtime on both days.

Spearhead lists

You can play as many Spearhead lists as you like over each day, in rotation. At registration, please give a written list of the lists you are using and in what order to Paul or Wayne.

Battleplans and battlepack

Please use the Battleplan as described on page 12 of the Fire and Jade book. We will be using the Battlepack from this book throughout.

Scoring and points

The following system will be used to differentiate players throughout the event.

1.    Win/Draw/Lose

2.    Victory points scored

3. Victory points allowed

Scoring

At the end of each of your games, you will complete your scores on the sheet provided and pass to Paul.

Most Sporting Nomination

At the end of your fifth game, you must decide which of your opponents was the best one. This will go towards the Most Sporting Award only and has no effect on the outcome of the HGT Champion Awards.

Awards

  • HGT Champion (Saturday)

  • HGT Champion (Sunday)

  • HGT Overall Champion (for those who competed on both days - accumulated points)

  • Most Sporting Opponent: This will be awarded to the people who have the most sports votes.

  • Best Army 1st place (Saturday): Please put out your army on Saturday lunchtime if you would like to be considered. The same army cannot win the award on both days.

  • Best Army 1st place (Sunday): Please put out your army on Saturday lunchtime if you would like to be considered. The same army cannot win the award on both days.

There may be other prizes announced at the event.

Fair play and slow play

This is a friendly event, and it is essential that players conduct themselves in the right spirit. Paul and Wayne reserve the right to dock points at their discretion for slow play or general unbecoming nonsense.
