Terrain

Terrain will be provided and should not be moved unless both players agree. Mysterious terrain rules will not be in play.

All woods are Wildwoods and are in effect as in the core rules.

Windows and doorways (that a model on a 25mm base cannot fit through) in ruins or complete buildings, block line of sight.

Rock formations are impassable, as are buildings with sloping roofs. Please agree these with your opponent before the game.

Structures that are over 12” in height cannot be flown over, flyers must go around them.

Battlescrolls

All current Battlescrolls are in play during the event.

Grand strategies and battle tactics

Grand strategies from the current General’s Handbook must be used.

The battle tactics from the General’s Handbook can all be used, as can any one battle tactic from the army’s battletome, once per game.

HGT House Rules

If you have a dispute over a rule, you can agree it amicably between yourselves or call over Paul or Wayne. Our judgement is final regardless of whether it is correct or not. Be warned, we tend to err on the side of rules as intended.

Army Painting and modelling

All models used should be fully painted miniatures of the appropriate type for the troops they represent. Conversions and kitbashes are actively encouraged, as long as they clearly represent the unit intended. If you are in doubt, please contact Paul on paulmarshallsay@btinternet.com.

Models must be based on correctly-sized round/oval bases.

Models not painted or based will not be removed as casualties but will incur a one win penalty. You can still play but you will not win. Paul and Wayne reserve the right to use a smaller penalty if your effort is clearly derisory.

All unit options and command models must be shown on the models, Weapon options shown on a model must be used.

Armies should be left out for judging on Saturday lunchtime. Those nominated for best army and coolest army need to be laid out on Sunday lunchtime. Nominations for both will be decided by the judges.

Registration and army lists

In advance of the weekend (at least a week before as lists need to be in by then), you will need to register on Stats and Ladders: https://www.statsandladders.com/.
